OptimizerRation™ Usage Guidance

OptimizerRation can be used in a variety of different ways, tailored toward different species and management contexts.

The Formulation is Designed to Deliver Pulses of Concentrated Nutrient Density 

In natural settings, high-value nutrition concentrates into brief, spatially limited events: termite emergences, fungal-charged larval pulses, clustered arthropod blooms, and nutrient-dense fruiting. Birds assemble reserves by consuming large numbers of small, dense inputs within narrow windows. 

A single 12-oz portion corresponds to an extended interval of successful high-value foraging—the kind that, in natural systems, is built from repeated intake of fungal- and mineral-linked arthropods such as termites. Its botanical components function in the same way. Together, the spices, roots, oils, and plant fractions operate as a condensed fruiting signal—comparable to a single lingonberry-sized resource carrying attributes normally accumulated across many plants, sites, and days.

What Each Product Equates to in Nature

A comparison of Smidgeon → Wafer → Cake:

Smidgeon (0.25 g): a single intake unit, roughly equivalent to one wild, nutritionally dense drupe (berry-nut) and about 55 Macrotermes termites associated with fungal/mycelial substrates.

Wafer (4 oz): many Smidgeons consumed together within a short window, equivalent to repeated intake of dense wild foods from a localized patch.

Cake (12 oz): multiple Wafers combined, representing the full output of a single localized abundance event—such as a drupe-laden shrub or a termite emergence—compressed into a portable ecological unit.
